Transforming Communities, Relieving Suffering, Lifting Women & Children

Villages in Partnership (VIP) works to raise villages in Malawi out of extreme poverty. Currently VIP works in 29 villages. Their model empowers villages to identify their own needs, contribute to the solution, and take ownership of projects.

VIP meets with villagers to
understand their needs

VIP mobilizes support in the west to provide resources & expertise

The entire village works to
provide a solution

The project is completed and
villagers take ownership of it

The new project helps to
lift the entire community

Within the villages where VIP works, they seek to impact the 6 critical needs of human development: water & sanitation, food security, education, health care, infrastructure, and economic development. By focusing on all of these areas, VIP believes in a holistic transformation of communities, equipping them to see long-lasting, sustainable change.
