Ongoing Food Drive
Food insecurity is at record high numbers. Families in the surrounding neighborhoods are struggling to pay rent and put food on the table. People are having to choose between paying for basic utilities, medical care, prescriptions and food. Your donation to the Christ Church Food Pantry helps men, women & children of all ages find hope in the midst of hardship.
Food Needs:
- Canned vegetables
- Cereal
- Goldfish crackers
- Granola bars
- Hamburger Helper
- Mac & cheese
- Mashed potatoes
- Oatmeal
- Pancake mix
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
- Peanut butter
- Rice
- Soup/Chili
- Syrup
Important Notes:
- Please try to avoid glass items.
- When possible, please choose plastic containers.
- Please try to choose items in ‘average’ sizes rather than bulk sizes.
- Smaller sizes help us distribute food more evenly between families. A couple of average-sized jars of peanut butter are better than one giant jar.
This list is also available under "My Resources" on the Christ Church Connect app.
Butterfield Drop-off: Drop items off at Door 1.
Oak Brook Drop-off: Drop items off items at any of the tables by Doors 1, 2 or 17.
Want to Give Regularly?
Ongoing giving allows the food pantry to have a steady flow of provisions throughout the year instead of rationing during those times of abundance to prepare for times of lack. If you are called to give on an ongoing basis, donate through the following links:
The Christ Church Food Pantry Team partners with the Salvation Army Food Pantry to meet the nutritional, clothing and spiritual needs of people in the DuPage and Western Cook Counties.
