Supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking

Supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking

Data shows that men and boys made up more than a third of those exploited in the sex trade. However, there are virtually no services available to male victims and survivors of trafficking and exploitation. They are often overlooked, misunderstood, stereotyped, ignored, and left without support.

EMMAUS is a Christian non-profit working to prevent exploitation and empower male survivors of the sex trade to rebuild their lives. They aim to provide a trustworthy and significant solution for people to support in faith, with confidence that we are making a real difference in the lives of hurting men and boys. They need you to join the fight to end trafficking and exploitation for ALL mankind.

EMMAUS serves their clients through several methods:

  • Preventing exploitation before it starts
  • Connecting with survivors where they are
  • Providing transformative, trauma-informed care
  • Inviting restored people to restore people by reinvesting
